Supported Employment

Supported Employment is a program funded by the Department of Human Resources, Labour and Employment. Supported Employment is available to assist persons with a developmental disability, by providing a Job Coach/Support Worker to work directly with that individual at the work site until he/she is capable of performing the duties independently. The Job Coach provides one-on-one job skill instruction to the new employee, ensuring a smooth transition into the workplace.
